OUR OPPORTUNITIES

High-quality equipment and space resources that meet modern standards allow us to offer events at the highest level, be it theater performances, concerts or mass events with international resonance. We have established close cooperation with the largest Latvian concert agencies and all professional theaters, which regularly give performances at the Jelgava House of Culture. At the moment, the institution is in charge of: Jelgava City Culture House, "Rota" Culture House and a modern movable / mobile stage for open-air events.

For placement and promotion of the event on the kultura.jelgava.lv website, digital displays, social networks, as well as other advertising channels, please provide informative and illustrative materials - a poster (in EPS, Adobe Illustrator or PDF format), a description of the event, as well as high-resolution images .

The stage of the big hall is equipped with 3 light traverses above the stage, side lights between the stage backdrops, stage light bridge, stage side portals. There is one front light line in the audience hall, two side light fixtures and two light fixtures from the sides of the audience balcony. One 1200W follower spotlight on the left side of the balcony of the audience hall.

Terms of renting premises

It is the lessee's responsibility to secure the decorations on the stage without damaging the floor covering (using alternative fixing methods to screws and nails) and guaranteeing the safety of the persons on the stage.

The submitted application does not give the Customer the right to start ticket sales. It can be started only after concluding a contract with JPPI "Kultūra".

The customer is obliged to provide JPPI "Kultūra" with informative materials about the event - poster (in EPS, Adobe Illustrator, PDF or TIFF format), description of the event, informative pictures.

Information

The open-air concert hall "Mītava" has completed its first season and is ready to invite producers, musicians and professionals from the cultural sector to cooperate in order to jointly create a celebration for Jelgava, Zemgale and Latvia!

GREAT HALL STAGE

It is the lessee's responsibility to secure the decorations on the stage without damaging the floor covering (using alternative fixing methods to screws and nails) and guaranteeing the safety of the persons on the stage.

MACHINERY OF THE GREAT HALL

In Jelgava city municipality institution "CULTURE", 29 crossbars have been installed on the stage of the big hall and in the hall. 28 of the traverses are manually controlled using a rope and weight system. The planned load of scenography traverse must always be agreed with the technical staff of JPPI Kultūra.

Of the 28 beams, 3 are lighting beams above the stage (beams no. 10; 17; 23;), 10.0 meters long with a pipe diameter of 50 mm. The traverses are manually controlled using a rope and weight system. Each of the traverses is equipped with one DMX 512 signal line and a different number of non-adjustable and dimmable power lines (see attached technical drawings).

One motorized lighting beam, 10 meters long, is placed in the audience hall. Made from a square aluminum truss (Slick, NovaBeam), the diameter of which is 50mm. The traverse is equipped with one DMX 512 connection, 5 non-adjustable 230V lines and 12 dimmable lines. A Video Projetor (BARCO 16,000 ansilumen) is placed on this traverse.

A Video projection screen is available above the stage in two of the scenography traverses. One of them is located in the front part of the stage (traverse No. 2) and one in the depth of the stage (traverse No. 27).

Above the stage 11 of the scenography traverses, a stage cloth outfit is installed, which consists of a stage harlequin (traverse No. 1), 6 pairs of stage curtains (travers No. 4; 9; 11; 16; 21; 24;), 3 pieces of stage cloth for soffits (travers No. 8; 14; 20;) and 1 pc. stage background (traverse No. 28).

The stage of the Great Hall has a "double stage height", which means that the background of the stage cloth, which does not exceed 7 meters in height, can be completely hidden by raising the scenography crossbar to the maximum possible height.

The stage of the Great Hall is equipped with a motorized stage curtain mechanism. The curtain mechanism can be controlled from a curtain control panel stationarily placed at the show manager's place or using a DMX 512 light control signal. When using DMX 512 control, the control panel instead of the show manager is disabled.

CLOTHES OF THE GREAT HALL

Two stage costumes are available for the Great Hall stage – a black velvet cloth outfit and a white velvet cloth outfit. The stage curtain cannot be exchanged for fabric of a different color.

LIGHTING SYSTEM OF THE GREAT HALL

The stage of the big hall is equipped with 3 light traverses above the stage, side lights between the stage backdrops, stage light bridge, stage side portals. There is one front light line in the audience hall, two side light fixtures and two light fixtures from the sides of the audience balcony. One 1200W follower spotlight on the left side of the balcony of the audience hall.
