FOLK DANCE ENSEMBLE "DIŽDANCIS"

Folk dance ensemble Diždancis has been in the family of Latvian dancers since 1975. The group is among the best group A dance groups in Jelgava and Latvia, which regularly participates in various concerts, festivals and other dance-related events.

The highest value of our dancers is mutual respect and friendship, as well as love for dance and insatiable joy of dancing, which we are ready to demonstrate not only in rehearsals and concerts, but also elsewhere. 

But this story includes much more - new friends, like-minded people, new emotions and adventures, balls and parties, trips, sports events, initiations, dance festivals, celebrating holidays together, Latvianness and many other good things and events. 

The collective motto is "Keram kaifu!", which the members also do in rehearsals, concerts, and in everyday moments of being together.

Currently, we have around 40 young people aged between 18 and 35 in the team. Come and start dancing too, if you are at least 18 years old!
