Jelgava pop choir

Jelgava pop choir has been operating since spring 2013. It was created by joining the most singing students of the city of Jelgava with the aim of singing the Jelgava song "Let's meet in Jelgava", as well as filming a video version.

As one of the most important goals of the collective is the promotion of local patriotism, which is managed to be realized in the singers themselves, as well as in the listeners, emphasizing the young audience.
Every year Jelgava Pop Choir has tried to present itself in at least one big concert program: a concert together with Jelgava composers and singers "Pa gabalinam Jelgava Lieku"; musical together with Jelgava theater actors "Dreamers"; cooperation in the Ice Festivals and Sand Festivals together with the dance studio "Benefice", etc.

One of the collective's goals is to help young people feel, understand, stage culture, stage opportunities, which most members also use and continue to develop their musical solo careers.
