Apply now for the 26th International Ice Sculpture festival 2025, which will take place in Jelgava from February 1^st to February 8^th!

Participants, become part of an enchanting journey that highlights the artistry and mystical connection between dreams and the celestial cosmos. Share with us “The Universe Story” through the ice.  Artists are welcome to apply by filling out the official application form until November 19th.

We are excited to invite talented artists to participate in this year’s ice sculpture competition themed “The Universe Story.” This captivating event encourages participants to explore the beauty and mysteries of space, allowing their creativity to soar as they tell their unique stories of the universe. Artists are invited to engage with key themes such as the connection between our deepest thoughts and the vastness of the night sky, the infusion of hope into their creations, and the exploration of illusion and reality—where dreams guide us like stars scattered across the cosmos. As the sculptures glisten under the light, each piece will take viewers on a mesmerizing journey, sparking wonder and reflection on our dreams and aspirations. Join us in this extraordinary celebration of artistry, where imagination meets the celestial realms in the beautiful concept of “Dream in the Universe.”

All teams must send us the Application before November 19^th 2024 in order to be accepted to the contest qualification. Each team member must complete an individual sculpture application form and one from the team need to submit team sculpture application form.

According to the European Union, artists from Russia and Belarus, as well as citizens of Russia or Belarus, who represent another country, may not participate in the sand sculpture competition and festival.
