The beginnings of the Turquoise Choir Ensemble can be traced back to the show "Choir Wars 2" organized by TV 3, where the Jelgava Turquoise Earth Color Choir led by Žorža Siksna won 2nd place. After the show in 2010, Ž. Under the leadership of Siksna, the Tyrese Choir Ensemble was created, which united the choir singers of the color of the Turquoise Earth.
The ensemble participates in shows and competitions with good success. In 2011, it was recognized as the best Latvian mixed ensemble. The Turquoise Choir Ensemble performs concerts both in Jelgava and elsewhere in Latvia. The ensemble's Christmas concerts have become a tradition.
