Yes. Photography and filming are allowed on the festival territory. Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are not allowed over the festival area ..
The territory will be closed to the public until the start of the festival. The festival will be open to the public from 7 February at 6 pm. Only accredited photographers and members of the press who have obtained prior permission from the organisers will be able to visit Pasta Island before the festival.
No alcoholic beverages of any kind are allowed on the festival grounds.
No, there will not be an ATM in the festival area. We advise you to make sure you have enough cash in advance.
Items found during the festival can be dropped off at the ticket controllers. Lost items will be kept by the organisers for a certain period after the festival.
In Jelgava, only one bridge crosses the Driksa and Lielupe rivers, so traffic congestion is expected to increase during the festival. Visitors to the festival are advised to park their cars on the left of the river from which they plan to enter the city and not to use the Lielupe Bridge, while Jelgava residents are invited to walk to the event or use the city's public transport. Guests travelling to Jelgava from Riga are also welcome to take the train. Check the train routes: http://www.vivi.lv
When entering the city from Riga, cars can park in the meadow opposite Jelgava Castle and in Cukura Street in the meadow by the promenade on the left side of the Lielupe River (availability depending on weather conditions), in the Zemgale Olympic Centre, in the Lielupe promenade (entrance from Cukura Street) and in other parking lots.
Cars entering the city from Šiauliai or Dobele can park at the Zemgale Health Centre (Sporta iela 2C, Jelgava).
Yes, there will be caterers on the festival territory. They will be located on Jāņa Čakstes boulevard and Pasta island.
Facilities will be available in all areas of the festival. Heated facilities will be located on Pasta Island, behind the outdoor concert hall "Mītava". The nearest baby changing tables are available in the public facilities outside the festival area at Jelgava Holy Trinity church tower courtyard parking lot, Jelgava History and Art museum of Ģ.Eliass and municipal institution “Culture”.
The festival takes place outdoors, so dress warmly. Bring a hat and gloves, wear your warmest boots and a second jumper. You can always take off the extra layers.
There will be no skating lessons on the public skating rink on Pasta Island during the festival. The ice rink will host festival activities - ice rides and games. The ice rink will be open to festival visitors only.
