Sand sculptures in Jelgava can also be seen in September – the park has changed working hours

Despite this summer's changing weather, sand sculptures on the Pasta island have remained in good condition and are still on view. From September 1, sand sculpture Park will welcome visitors daily from 10 am to 6 pm.

The theme of this year's festival is "Mythical Creatures”and visitors to the park can encounter characters described in legends of different cultures, from ancient Greek gods and heroes to Eastern mythological beings. A total of 17 sculptors from 11 countries took part in the festival, each creating their own unique artwork in the sand. The park centre attracts special attention from this year's largest sculpture – “Medusa”, which was created by two Latvian artists.

Entrance fee for adults is 3 euros, pupils, students, pensioners and people with disabilities are 2 euros, and children under 7 years old are free of charge. It is possible to buy an entrance ticket by paying both in cash and with a bank card at the cash desk at the entrance to the territory.
