The most ambitious winter event in the Baltics has been opened - the 22nd International Ice Sculpture Festival. Interpreting the theme of this year's festival \"Superheroes\", the sculptures feature familiar characters from Hollywood movies, history books and our own everyday life. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Ice art works were created by 32 professional artists from seven countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Finland. At the opening ceremony on February 7, the winners of the ice sculpture competition were announced.<\/p>

This weekend, from February 7 to 9, meet the most beloved superheroes in Jelgava, the most ambitious ice sculpture festival in the Baltics!<\/strong><\/p>

More than 60 works of ice art, demonstration duels, pyrotechnics and light shows, as well as a wide cultural program together with Latvian superstars. The visitors of the event are invited to dress according to the weather and before going to Jelgava to familiarize themselves with the traffic organization scheme, which will also be available in the Waze mobile app during the festival.<\/p>
