This week, 17 professional sculptors from 10 countries started work on the creation of the Baltic's largest sand sculpture park \"Summer Signs 2022\" on the island of Pasta, Jelgava. Sculptors will continue creating the sculptures until June 3 at 1 p.m., when they will be handed over to the jury for evaluation.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On June 4 and 5, the most ambitious sand sculpture park in the Baltics \"Summer Signs 2022\" will open on the island of Pasta, where the world's masterpieces will be reproduced in sand sculptures by artists from 10 countries - the Czech Republic, Spain, Ukraine, Canada, Turkey, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The divine proportion or the golden section, the splendor of the traditional Venetian masks, the interpretation of Pablo Picasso's Guernica painting, the Science Center in Canada built in the shape of a snowflake; a chameleon that changes color under the influence of its environment; modern technologies - these are all masterpieces created by man, nature or the universe, masterpieces that take your breath away for a moment. This year's sculptors of the Sand Sculpture Park will create such admirable, surprising, inspiring works of art - giving visitors the opportunity to get to know outstanding achievements, masterpieces and masterpieces.<\/p>

So, for example, the authors of the demo sculpture in the Sand Sculpture Park, the world's most renowned ice and sand sculptor K\u0101rlis \u00cdle and Maija \u00cdle reproduce Milecangelo's work \"Pieta\" (Pity) in the sand. K. \u00cdle himself acknowledges the chosen work:\u00a0\"Creating this sculpture is a special challenge. Pieta is a very complex, very sophisticated marble sculpture, which is basically impossible to transfer in sand. Above all, I want to achieve an equivalent emotional message rather than making technical, mechanical copy. I added my own ideas to the sculpture and this is definitely one of my most emotional sculptures\".<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Sand Sculpture Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on June 4 and 5. There are also various activities for children on both days, including bubble workshops, foam parties and attractions. Vinyl DJ Mareks Ameriks will take care of the musical atmosphere on the Post island on both days. On the other hand, on Saturday, June 4, Riga Reggae will perform at 7 p.m., and Edav\u0101rdi at 9 p.m. On Sunday, June 5, at 8 p.m., visitors will be entertained by Ivo Fomins.<\/p>\n

Tickets are already available at all \"Bile\u0161u Parad\u012bze\" box offices and on the website bilesuparadize.lv<\/a>. It should be noted that tickets can be bought cheaper in the advance sale - until June 3.<\/p>\n

The International Sand Sculpture Park is created by the city of Jelgava and the institution \"Kult\u016bra\", supported by \"Ramirent\" and \"Pils\u0113tas Elpa\".<\/p>\n
