Yesterday, June 4, in Jelgava, the biggest sand sculpture park in the Baltics \"Summer Signs 2022\" opened its doors, inviting you to get to know the world's masterpieces in 16 large-format sand sculpture works. Throughout the day, the guests of the event were entertained by activities for the whole family, as well as concerts by popular musicians in Latvia.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In less than a week, 15 artists from 10 countries \u2013 the Czech Republic, Spain, Ukraine, Canada, Turkey, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia \u2013 created works of art on the Post Island that reflect the theme of this year's Sand Sculpture Park, \"Masterpieces\". On the other hand, the demo sculpture of the park was created by Latvian sculptors K\u0101rlis \u012ale and Maiju \u012ale.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The park's opening morning program was filled with activities for the whole family \u2013 attractions, foam parties, bubble workshops. In the evening, the visitors were entertained by the musical association \"Riga Reggae\" and \"Edav\u0101rdi\".<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Already tomorrow, June 5, the sand sculpture park on Pasta Island will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. In the first half of the day, a program for families with children is offered for viewing additional sculptures, and at 8 p.m. Ivo Fomins will take the stage with a group. Mareks Ameriks will take care of the musical atmosphere throughout the evening.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During the opening days of the park, on June 4 and 5, traffic restrictions should be expected.<\/p>

Tickets are available at all \"Bile\u0161u Parad\u012bze\" ticket offices and\u00a0bilesuparadize.lv<\/a>.<\/p>

The International Sand Sculpture Park is created by the city of Jelgava and the institution \"Kult\u016bra\", supported by SIA \"Ramirent\" and the restaurant \"Pils\u0113tas Elpa\".<\/p>
