At the beginning of February, Jelgava invites you to immerse yourself in the winter atmosphere and experience one of the most anticipated events \u2013 the 27th International Ice Sculpture Festival \"The Power of Illusion.\" The festival will take place on February 7 and 8, and tickets are already on sale.<\/p>

The festival invites you to look beyond the obvious and experience moments where truth intertwines with illusion. Sculptures from around the world will become a bridge between reality and imagination, transforming Jelgava into a breathtaking world of illusion.<\/p>

The festival offers a winter holiday atmosphere \u2013 music, creative activities, and entertainment for the whole family. Pasta Island, the open-air concert hall \"M\u012btava\" and the skating rink will be the main venues, where visitors will be greeted by individual and team sculptures, as well as an extensive cultural program. J\u0101\u0146a \u010cakstes Boulevard, which in previous years was part of the paid event area, will this year become a freely accessible festival zone with a market where visitors can purchase various delicacies and handicrafts, as well as enjoy the true winter atmosphere.<\/p>

The festival program will be diverse and suitable for the whole family. Younger visitors will enjoy ice games and plays, while those who are curious will enjoy exciting science shows with various experiments. There will be an opportunity to watch sculpture demonstrations and see how real works of ice art are created in the hands of artists. The festival atmosphere will be complemented by illusionist performances that will allow you to experience the \"power of illusion,\" as well as concerts by the musical group \"Vint\u0101\u017ea\" and the ensemble \"Tand\u0113ms trijat\u0101.\" In addition, visitors can look forward to special, as yet unannounced headline artists, whose performances will be the highlights of the festival \u2013 their names will be revealed soon.<\/p>

When darkness falls, the sculptures will sparkle with multicolored lights, transforming Pasta island into a place where imagination knows no boundaries.<\/p>

The festival will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at a discounted price until January 31 at Bi\u013ce\u0161u Parad\u012bze ticket offices throughout Latvia, at the Jelgava Culture House ticket office, and at www.bilesuparadize.lv. Each ticket purchased is a day ticket, which allows you to visit the festival territory several times on the same festival day.<\/p>
