\"M\u012btava\" choir has been led by the conductor Agija Pizika, who has raised the artistic quality of the choir to an ever higher level with her professional work and demandingness towards herself and the singers. From 2022, the choir is led by Raimonds Gulbis.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\"M\u012btava\" is a member of the Song Festival movement, whose individuality is formed by a diverse selection of repertoire - from folk songs and original compositions by Latvian composers and obligatory Song Festival compositions to jazz and contemporary popular pop music. It also participates in various international competitions and festivals every year with considerable success.
